‘Stan’ley Carmichael , 74 died unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on June 15, 2021. Stanley lived in Iowa City majority of his life and was a truck driver for various companies. Stan is a retiree from Eldon C. Stutsman, INC —where he devoted +30 years. He was a son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, army veteran, avid bowler, and a loyal PBR Beer lover.

Stan’s health took a toll in December when he underwent heart surgery. His recovery and health never regained strength. Following his death the family was notified that Stan didn’t have any qualifying life insurance. This is leaving the family to burden the expenses —following an already financially challenging year. Please consider making a donation to the Stan Carmichael Funeral Fund. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated! With your support, they hope to honor his life and lay him to rest soon at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City with full military honors.

Any additional funds raised will be given to charity to continue honoring Stan’s memory.
