Hello! We are a team of seven Stanford University students who will be biking and teaching across the country this summer, and we are graciously asking for your support. 

From San Francisco, to Kansas City, to Washington D.C., our goal is to encourage a love for learning in children and young adults through teaching, biking, and sharing our own love for both.

We will be teaching workshops and learning festivals along the way that focus on introducing young students to topics outside of their standard curriculum. We believe that interactive lessons are the most effective way to teach practical skills and build relationships with these students.

We are especially motivated to reach those who are underrepresented in post-secondary education in terms of race, gender, geographic region, or socioeconomic background. Our mission is rooted in the belief that education and sports can inspire students to defy stereotypes while developing a lifelong love for learning.

 

We are leaving during the middle of June, returning ten weeks later at the end of August. Our expenses include road bikes, cycling gear, and teaching supplies. We hope to raise a total of $20,000 by mid-June.
