Seth's Heart Surgery in Stanford

Donation protected
Tim and Lydia are living on a single (teacher's) income and their health insurance has an out of pocket maximum of $10,000/year... which they will certainly meet and exceed this year for Seth's heart surgery. Besides that, there is gas to drive down to Stanford, meals outside of the home and some amount of housing expenses during their stay. Donate a few dollars to cover a meal, a gallon of gas, or take a bite out of their medical expenses!

About Seth:
Seth was born in Henan, China. He lived in the Morning Star Family Home in Beijing, China from about a month old until he joined the DeRoss family on July 7, 2014. He is currently 2 1/2 years old.

Seth has congenital heart disease consisting of a single ventricle and single atrium heart, heterotaxy, transposition of the great arteries, pulmonary stenosis, moderate-severe atrioventricular valve regurgitation, possible asplenia and a number of other anomalies involving the veins coming into his heart. Seth has never had surgical intervention for his heart, but he is scheduled to have a bi-directional Glenn procedure as well as an AV valve repair or replacement on March 26, 2015 at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Seth is full of life and spunk and we are so glad he is a part of our family!
