Many of you know that I have had multiple visits to Stanford Hospital for my recurring brain tumors over the last several years. So many friends, family and even strangers were a huge blessing in the past by supporting me through my medical journey.
After my last brain surgery and regrowth in January 2022, I was sick and tired of having surgery every year it felt like. My doctor had mentioned the option for me to get radiation done, so my girlfriend Sarah and I met with the radiation doctor and discussed the pros and cons of getting this treatment done.
My doctor advised us to move forward with the treatment in hopes of neutralizing the tumor cells. The radiation doctor believes this is my best option to stop or prolong any further regrowths. Of course every procedure or treatment come with possible side effects and or long term adverse health concerns. This treatment is no different and some of the things that were discussed are scary to think about. After lots of thought and prayer, we have decided to move forward with radiation treatment. We decided that the risks are worth it instead of having the tumor possibly regrow and undergo another brain surgery.
Treatment is scheduled at Stanford Hospital starting on June 28th 2022 and continue everyday until August 9th 2022.

Due to the fact of radiation being an everyday occurrence, Sarah, myself and our two doggies with be driving to Palo Alto and living in an Air B&B for the 7 week treatment. Fortunately Sarah's job was gracious enough to give her the time off to be with me in California. I want to thank my father for blessing us and covering our Air B&B stay in California, which is a huge help. Sarah and I are looking into things we can do during our stay in California to earn money but ultimately this will be 2 months of having no income to cover our bills, food, gas and hospital bills.
