[I am the mother of his two sons & only
daughter.]
Stanford G Eskaran passed away at the Palawai Basin farmstead. He was
found dead in his home by his brother Edmund, during the early morning hours of Monday - September 14th, 2020.
His sons, Samson JK Aki & Isaiah JK Aki were notified about 11 o’clock as
“next of kin” and proceeded to let us know.
In such a time of loss, grief and shock of the loss of their dad who meant the world to them, I am pained to help by creating this page in hopes to create a
Memory Lane that shares their story of
how much Stan meant in their
In the hopes that those who can, those who love and support Samson & Isaiah, can help them in their financial burdens & help to lighten their difficulties as well as to share alongside their grief.

Community Hospital. (The old hospital,
some of you may recall was where StraubClinic now sits)
He finished school and
Graduated Lana’i High & Elementary
School -Class of 1981.
Stan spent some Army time after graduating and than returned to Lana’i.
He did Landscaping yard maintenance as the most current mainstay. He had side jobs at different properties as well as
with working for other Landscaping
outfits at the Terraces at Manele.
His sons:
Samson Jon KaleialohiOMana’oi’o Aki
born on May 1st 1989, and
Isaiah Jarrett Kaunukokohi Aki born March 3, 1990.
His daughter:
Ariel PoliahuOhaulani Mei Lani Aki
born May 15, 1991. She precedes her dad in death on July 22, 2006. RIP
lives.
He made significant memories with their elder brother Kama Aki, who was four at the time.
There are so many memorable occasions to growing up at the Palawai farm far from the city small as it is, makes life like
living in the old homestead days...
and living in the old country ways...
Eskarans were the caretakers Of the Privately own land of the Kauila Ohana.
I write this for my sons as their grief is
heavy upon their hearts right now and we, they, need your love and support in the
coming hardships in the pathway ahead.
Long is the Journey of grief and bereavement and anything in Kindness of generosity is much needed at this time. Please help their Journey of Love for their dad.
During this time, of COVID, they are unable to return to Lana’i to do have. Proper Funeral Services to bid farewell.
