Hi everyone. This fundraiser is to benefit Shane Conway and his family during his recent medical emergency and ongoing treatment. If you know Shane, you know he is a lighthearted, funny, and sweet person. After a sudden onset of headaches, his parents took him to the ER. Following testing the doctors discovered a large mass in his brain. He was transferred to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for brain surgery to remove 1/2 of the mass at that time. His fiancé, Jess, and his parents, Kevin and Karin Conway, traveled with him while their 16 month old daughter Caroline remained in Scranton with family members. Following his first surgery, he developed brain swelling which required another emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. A third surgery was then performed to remove more of the remaining mass.  

Shane and his family now have a long road ahead of them. Shane will require frequent trips to U of Penn for follow ups, rehab, and treatments to continue his fight. Last Saturday while in ICU Shane and his Fiancé Jess Voldenberg were married over Zoom, in a beautiful ceremony attended by immediate family. Shane is fighting hard to regain his strength through rehab and continue to heal following his multiple surgeries. 

Shane and his family are in need of love, support, and positivity at this time. Donations will be used to assist Shane and his family with expenses( medical, household, travel, and care) during their time of need. Please keep Shane, Jess, Caroline, and family in your prayers. Thank you!
