Help. Sleeping in Car. DV Survivor & Whistleblower

My name is Mila Garcia. I’m a proud American, a survivor, and a mother who has spent over forty years working to protect others in the pharmaceutical & beauty industry—side by side with agencies like the FDA and OSHA to keep consumers safe.
After surviving domestic violence, I had to relocate from New York City to Houston, Texas to rebuild my life. At 58 years old, I was finally starting over and excited to get back to work. But now, after reporting wrongdoing in the workplace, I find myself at risk of losing everything.
Today, I am fighting not just for myself, but for every worker and consumer who deserves honesty, safety, and justice. Multi-million-dollar companies are using the courts to silence me and have left me facing homelessness and overwhelming legal battles, simply for doing the right thing.
If you want to verify my story, all legal documents and court orders are public record. You can see for yourself by searching Harris County, Texas civil case docket number 202541725 on the District Clerk’s website. I believe in transparency—and I invite you to see the truth for yourself.
