Melissa Smith, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer. This page has been created to help her and her family so they can travel to calgary for her treatments and other related expenses that will arise as Melissa fights her cancer.
At first we thought it was Osteogenic Sarcoma but it has been updated to Ewing Sarcoma.
Thank you everyone for your support. This means a lot to everyone involved. I wanted to share how apreciative Mellisa's family is. I saw this post on the Melissa's Journey facebook page and though it should be added here so everyone who is not following the facebook page can see this message.
I would like to add a thank you to all of this extended comunity and friends who are supporting this effort to help Melissa and her family in her fight against cancer and everything that her and her family will face during that battle.

There is an event happening at the high school if you are in the local area. The COS lab will be taking appointments for the hair drive beginning next week. To donate your hair to making wigs for cancer patients, to get a funky blonde streak, or to shave your head to support cancer awareness, come to the COS lab to book for an appointment time. There will be journeyman Hairstylists available on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd to take clients. Community members are also encouraged to participate. Please call the high school cosmo lab to book an apointment. Go Fund Me suggested we do not publish any phone numbers on this page. If you are local, you can probably track down the phone number easily. Thank you again everyone.
