On July 11th, our world turned upside down.
While driving through Philadelphia, Sam was involved in a car accident that left him with severe injuries.
Sam suffered major head trauma and deep facial lacerations, requiring emergency reconstruction surgery. He’s now home recovering, but the road ahead is long. He’ll need additional surgery to correct his facial injuries, as well as future therapy to support his healing — physically and emotionally.
Sam is more than a survivor. He’s our family’s heart, the life of every room, and the unofficial “comedian-in-residence” among his friends. His wit, high energy, and ability to make anyone laugh without even trying have always been his gift — and his passion. He’s performed stand-up comedy in clubs and online, often juggling multiple jobs just to provide for our family of four. It’s heartbreaking to know that this accident may keep him from the thing that brings him the most joy.
He has spent the last year being an educator of Philadelphia’s youth and now his ability to work has been taken from him. While Sam focuses on healing. We’re humbly asking for your support to help us cover:
• Household bills
• Medical expenses and therapy
• Wound care and recovery supplies
• Everyday needs for our two children
If you know Sam, you know he’s the first to help a friend, lend a hand, or share a laugh even in the hardest moments. Now, he needs us.
Please consider donating what you can, sharing this page, or simply sending love and laughter his way. Your generosity will help ease the financial stress as we focus on helping Sam heal — and eventually, get him back on stage to turn this whole traumatic mess into the best comeback story yet.
