One Wednesday April 20, on their way to a team dinner, three members of the Standley Lake Girls’ Soccer team were involved in a horrible rollover accident. Two of the girls were ejected from the vehicle. The rest of the team, traveling together to the dinner, witnessed the accident and were the first ones on the scene.

The injured girls – Shannon, Natalya, and Tessa -- were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance and were kept overnight. They are facing various serious injuries, including broken bones, cuts, road rash, internal bleeding, and concussions. The girls are expected to be okay and heal, but they all face a long road of recovery.

The families will also face many challenges ahead, including mounting medical bills. As members of the Standley Lake High School and Colorado soccer families, we are asking for your help for these girls and families in this difficult time.

We have set up this GoFundMe account to accept donations for the families affected. All donations will be divided among the three families to use at their discretion at this difficult time.

A day before this tragedy, two of our players suddenly and tragically lost their father. A donation will be made to the family from a portion of the contributions to this cause.

The Standley Lake Girls' Soccer Team is incredibly thankful for your generosity!
