My name is Zay, and on December 28, my life changed in an instant.

I was shot and rushed into emergency surgery. The injuries were severe, requiring major reconstructive surgery to my stomach and abdominal area. Since that day, I have not left the hospital once. I’ve been living between the ICU and recovery units, fighting through complications and trying to heal.

Recovery has been extremely difficult. I’ve dealt with tubes, drains, constant nausea, vomiting, and the inability to keep food down. My body is still adjusting after surgery, and every day is a challenge. What most people take for granted eating, sleeping comfortably, moving without pain has become a daily battle.

Because I’ve been hospitalized continuously since December 28, I haven’t been able to work or earn income. Meanwhile, medical bills, medications, and basic living expenses haven’t stopped. The financial strain has grown heavier each day, adding stress to an already overwhelming situation.

I’m not asking for sympathy I’m asking for support while I fight my way back. Right now, my focus has to be on healing and surviving, not worrying about how I’ll cover the costs of recovery.
