Hi, I'm April and I'm here in hopes of raising support for my brother and sister-in-law, Randy & Wendy.

On 10/19/25, after only 6 months of marriage, and at only 49 years old, Wendy suffered an Ischemic Stroke. She had 2 blood clots, and while she got to the hospital within the "golden hour," we would later learn she had a dissection in her carotid artery, making it impossible for the doctors to get the clots, leaving Wendy's brain deprived of blood flow. As her brain continued to swell, she underwent a craniotomy to remove the bone flap on the right side of her skull.

Wendy has worked hard in speech & physical therapy to regain use of her left side, and Randy has rarely left her side through it all. Just last week, he returned to work to ease some of the financial strain this has left on them both. Along with some of their closest friends, I hope to help ease some of that through this fundraiser. If you can only give a few dollars, truly, any amount helps! If you are unable to give, sharing their story & offering a prayer helps as well!
