Hi, my name is Jaqulynn, and I’m raising funds for my father-in-law, Victor Cabrera, who is currently fighting stage 4 lung cancer.

In addition to his cancer battle, Victor has recently suffered multiple strokes that affected his brain. These complications led to a blood clot that caused him to lose his eyesight and significantly impacted his memory. Watching someone you love endure so much in such a short amount of time has been devastating for our entire family.

Alongside the emotional toll, we are now facing increasing financial strain. Insurance has stopped covering several essential medical needs, including Victor’s important medications and other ongoing costs required for his care and daily survival. These are necessities, not optional expenses, and we are trying to elevate the stress because victor was the sole provider for his family and it can be become overwhelming.

Victor has always been the kind of man who shows up for others — a father, grandfather, husband, and provider with a big heart. Right now, our family is doing everything we can to show up for him in return.

All funds raised will go directly toward medication, uncovered medical expenses, and essential living costs so we can focus on keeping Victor comfortable and cared for during this incredibly difficult time.
