December 7th, around 1 AM, felt like the universe looked me dead in the face and said,
“Let’s see how much more you can take before you break.”

I wasn’t driving.
I wasn’t even in the damn car.
But now I’m the one drowning in the consequences.

When I pulled up and saw my car — or what was left of it — my stomach dropped, and I dropped to my knees.
Not the kind of shock you walk off.
The kind that feels like someone pressed pause on your life and then hit destroy.

Photo 1: The first thing I saw… and the moment I realized my life was about to fall apart again.

Photo 2: Everything I worked for, ripped open like it meant nothing.

Photo 3: Walking around it and feeling my future collapse piece by piece.

That car was my lifeline.
My ONLY way to get to work.
My ONLY way to get Gabriel to appointments, school, anything.
My ONLY reliable piece of stability.
And in a split second, it was gone.

And the punch in the gut?
I still owe $28,000 on it.

Twenty-eight thousand dollars on a pile of metal that will never drive again.
And I don’t even know if insurance will give me a single penny.

This didn’t happen to someone with help.
I am a single mom.
No co-parent.
No financial backup.
No one to split the load with.
Every responsibility, every bill, every ounce of pressure lands directly on me.

And I’ve carried so much for so long.

I grew up surviving abuse nobody should have to live through.
I’ve been fighting for stability since I was old enough to understand what instability was.
I lost my mom — the one person who loved me without conditions.
Gabriel’s father has given us almost nothing. Not support. Not help. Not effort.

I have clawed my way through every hardship life has thrown at me.
I’ve rebuilt myself more times than I can count.
I’ve held myself together when I had every reason to fall apart.

But this?
This accident broke something in me.

This was the moment I realized I cannot keep pretending I can carry EVERYTHING alone.
This was the moment I finally said out loud:
“I need help.”

I don’t like asking.
I don’t like depending on people.
I’ve always been the one who figures it out alone.
But right now… I can’t.

I cannot afford a $28,000 debt on a car that’s gone.
I cannot afford a new car.
I cannot afford legal fees if they land on me.
I cannot afford to lose my job because I have no transportation.
I cannot afford to fall apart — but I’m right on the edge.

I’m asking — begging — for help.
Anything.
A donation. A share. A prayer. A kind thought.
Anything that gives me one inch of breathing room.

I have fought so damn hard for everything I have.
And I’ll keep fighting — for Gabriel, for our future, for the life I’m trying to build.
But I can’t climb out of this alone.

Thank you for listening.
Thank you for caring.
Thank you for being here at a time when I feel completely buried.
