Help My Partner Recover After Accident & ICE Detention

My partner was recently involved in a serious accident and was taken to the hospital with injuries. While he was there receiving medical care, he was unexpectedly placed on an ICE hold and is now in immigration detention. He did nothing wrong—he was hurt and needed help, yet instead of being able to recover, he is now facing detention during one of the most vulnerable moments of his life.

This situation has been incredibly overwhelming, both emotionally and financially. In addition to everything, his truck was severely damaged in the accident.

I am now trying to handle everything on my own, including:

• Legal fees for his immigration case

• Possible bond to help bring him home and/or legal expenses

• Medical expenses from the accident

• Loss of his vehicle and transportation costs

• Basic living expenses during this difficult time

Ayuda para mi pareja después de un accidente y detención por ICE

Hola a todos,

Mi pareja sufrió recientemente un accidente grave y fue llevado al hospital con lesiones. Mientras recibía atención médica, fue inesperadamente detenido por ICE y ahora se encuentra en un centro de detención de inmigración. No hizo nada malo: resultó herido y necesitaba ayuda, pero en lugar de poder recuperarse, ahora enfrenta detención en uno de los momentos más vulnerables de su vida.

Esta situación ha sido increíblemente abrumadora, tanto emocional como financieramente.
