Hi my names Mason and I started this go fund me for my girlfriend Tori horn this thanksgiving we found out she has stage four primary mediastinal lymphoma cancer. We have been in and out of hospitals for the last 8-6 months the first appointment was because it was hard for her to breath and her chest would get real tight so the doctors diagnosed her with anxiety with them saying it was anxiety we weren’t worried about it for the next 5 months we where in and and out of the hospital getting multiple labs m.r.i and ct scans done .around her her birthday October 20th her shoulder neck and chest started hurting we figured she had slept wrong or something of the sorts so we went in for them to give her a shot for inflammation and frightened us by telling us she had a heart murmur about two weeks later she had several blood vessels burst in her chest and neck we woke up the Monday before thanksgiving to her face and chest super swollen so we went in to the er they had her do another mri and more labs then proceeded to tell her she needed to go to the chiropractor we got a call Tuesday saying she had a unexplainable black mass her chest so they had her go in and drained fluid fromaround her lungs and sent a referral to the mayo thanksgiving day we went to the may clinic and they scheduled a biopsy for the fallowing Monday the doctors said the reason she is swollen is is cus the cancer is pressing up against the main artery that drains the fluid in your body so she has a chest tube exiting her side to drain fluid and because of the swolleness she is not allowed to lay below a 45 degree angle because her oxygen drops rapidly if they can’t get the swolleness under control they will have to put a stint in her artery so she can breathe and drain like she is supposed to they did more MRI ct scans and this thing called a pet scan the pet scan located and told us how much cancer she has we found out there is a large mass in between her sternum and heart with more on her liver kidneys and overies so they started her on chemo Tuesday afternoon she’ll have to do 5 bags a month for the next six months at the Mayo Clinic anything helps in this tragic situation even a share she has kept busy with coloring doing Legos and has started a new stuffed animal collection
