I'm raising funds for my father, Agostino Zani, who was just diagnosed with Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia, a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. This type of cancer is diagnosed in about 1,500 people each year in the United States. Since this cancer is so rare, our family is supporting him through a series of specialized testing and treatment.
Who is Tino? Tino grew up the oldest brother of 4 in a small town in Northern Italy. After immigrating to the United States at 20, he worked in and owned many hair salons across Middlesex County. Tino is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He’s turning 75 years old in June and still works and owns Zani Salons in Melrose, MA! Tino loves working, talking to his clients, biking, gardening, going to church, and spending time with his family.
My father is someone you always want in your corner. He’s an extremely caring man and the strongest person I know. If you’ve ever crossed paths with him, I’m sure you’d say the same.
As our family navigates this big change, we are asking for donations to help support us. Please consider donating - anything helps!
