My name is Thelma Nyanway. I am creating this GoFundMe page for myself to share my story in hopes of raising awareness and community support during a very critical season of my life. In 2020, I was diagnosed with stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer that had metastasized to my lymph nodes.

During that time, I had chemotherapy, a lumpectomy, the removal of some lymph nodes from under my right arm, and radiation treatments for my right breast. For two years, I fought hard by God’s grace. Through chemo, surgery, and radiation, I endured the physical and emotional toll of traditional cancer treatments. To the glory of God and the dedication of my medical team, I was declared cancer-free.

Unfortunately, last year the cancer returned aggressively. The cancer blocked my airway and spread to my neck, right chest wall, and throat. Since then, I have again undergone more traditional cancer treatments. The physical toll has been significant, and now my right arm is experiencing lymphedema. Despite my deep gratitude for modern medicine, the side effects have been incredibly difficult, leaving my body exhausted. After much prayer, research, and reflection, I am seeking an alternative treatment option that focuses on a more integrative and innovative approach to healing.
