Our dear friends, Leah and Ramiro Rodriguez, need our support. For those who don't know, Eliana will undergo surgery tomorrow, Dec. 5, to remove a mass in her salivary gland. She is in good hands at Dell Children’s Medical Center, but the procedure will cost around 7,000 dollars.

Unfortunately, federal law enforcement has detained her father and Leah's husband, Ramiro, after state troopers pulled him over for a burnt-out taillight. He won't be able to go to the hospital, and that means for at least some time, he will not be able to work.

Hope is not lost. He can finally fight his case to stay, after a decade of marriage to a U.S. citizen (Leah). He has been paying taxes, running a business, owning a home, contributing to our community, and raising a family.

The emotional cost of Ramiro's detention is huge, but so is the financial cost, and especially at a time when they are facing medical expenses, they need your assistance. They still need to pay their mortgage, buy food, they will have doctor visits, and they've lost his income.

The family has more than enough food and helping hands at this moment, but if you can consider helping out during this difficult time by contributing to the go fund me, it would help them tremendously.
