I am volunteering year-round as a Justice Facilitator in the Four Courts, supporting the people of Ireland as they navigate Ireland’s justice system. I’ll be working between the Four Courts and the Criminal Courts of Justice, providing direct, accessible guidance to people seeking Justice.
I will also be assisting individuals nationwide in engaging with Ireland’s 6,000+ Peace Commissioners and over 70 District Judges across the 100 District Courts, helping them use statutory law to safeguard and vindicate their fundamental rights.
At present, there is no public service in Ireland offering this kind of hands-on, independent support to citizens. Too often, barriers such as complexity, cost, and intimidation prevent people from exercising their constitutional right to justice. My mission is to break down those barriers and ensure that everyone, regardless of means or background, has someone to stand help them throughout the process.
I will also support individuals in challenging unlawful prosecutions brought by members of An Garda Síochána or the Director of Public Prosecutions, helping them transfer their cases from the District Court to the High Court under their constitutional entitlements.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can make access to justice a reality for all.
