Standing with the Parkers: Hope for Andrew
Hello friends and family,
As many of you know, our brother-in-law, Andrew, suffered a stroke a few months ago. That moment completely changed life for him, Jaasiel , and the girls.
What followed was a whirlwind of doctors visits, scans, test, uncertainty, and waiting.
Recently, those tests revealed a tumor that had doubled in size in just two months.
We are so grateful to share that God has already provided a miracle: Andrew’s neurosurgeon was able to successfully remove the entire tumor! We are exhaling a deep breath of praise for that victory.
However, the recent biopsy results brought us some difficult news: Andrew has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Astrocytoma.
Our hearts are heavy, but we are not without hope. We have watched Andrew and Jaasiel walk this path with such grace, and their words stay with us: “Our trust is in the Lord, and HE is our HOPE!”
As they prepare for the road ahead—new treatments, specific dietary needs, and the inevitable medical bills—we want to surround them with the same love they’ve always shown us. So many of you have asked how you can help support Andrew, Jaasiel, and the girls during this time.
First and foremost, please keep praying. We believe in the power of prayer and have seen its strength firsthand over these last few weeks.
Second, if you feel led to give, any donation would be a tremendous blessing. Our deepest prayer as their extended family is to lift the financial burden so that Andrew can focus entirely on healing and being with his family.
We are so humbled by this community. To see the way you have already poured out your love for the Parkers is a beautiful reminder of God’s goodness. Thank you for walking beside them in this fight.
With love and gratitude,
