The O’Brien family is one of those families who quietly makes a community better simply by being part of it. Jean and Brian are loving, devoted parents to two incredible boys, Nolan, a 5th grader, and Harry, a 2nd grader, at A. Russell Knight Elementary School in Cherry Hill.
This past fall, the O’Brien family received heartbreaking news that Nolan’s brain tumor has returned. And they are fighting for his life!
As neighbors, friends, classmates, and fellow ARK families, we want to surround them with love and support during this unimaginably difficult time.
Right now, our hope is simple…to help make life feel as beautiful, meaningful, joyful, and special as possible for Nolan and for the people who love him most. We want this family to have every opportunity to create memories, celebrate small moments, say “yes” to special experiences, and spend precious time together without the added weight of financial stress.
Whether it’s a family outing, a favorite adventure, a holiday tradition, a weekend away, a surprise for the boys, or simply the ability to focus fully on each other during the hard days ahead, we want the O’Brien family to feel lifted up by an entire community standing beside them.
No family should have to walk through something like this alone.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small and every act of kindness matters deeply. And if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Nolan, Harry, Jean, and Brian in your thoughts and prayers.
Let’s come together to help make this time as special, comforting, and filled with love as possible for the O’Brien family.
