Hello! I am here starting a GoFundMe for the McDowell Family.

UPDATE:

Dad and son remain hospitalized in critical care and continue to need around-the-clock medical support. Our 13-year-old has already undergone multiple surgeries to his abdominal area, with additional surgeries still expected. He also sustained a broken arm during the crash. Both dad and son also sustained concussions during the impact.

Dad suffered severe injuries in the crash. He has multiple fractures and dislocations from the waist down and currently has no feeling in that area. Because of significant swelling, doctors are still unable to determine the full extent of his injuries. He also sustained broken ribs and significant injury to his mouth, along with several lacerations that required stitches.

This is an incredibly difficult and uncertain time for our family. Mom remains by her son’s side at the hospital, while big sister travels back and forth between hospitals each day to be with both her dad and brother.

We ask that you please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the road ahead. Your love, support, and kindness mean more to our family than words can express.
