We, the authors formerly published by Shadow Light Press, are raising funds as a precaution in the event of a prolonged legal process.

We believe we were taken advantage of by a publishing company that engaged in serious misconduct, and we are currently working to fully extricate ourselves from those agreements. While most of us have already terminated our contracts due to misrepresentation and material breach, Shadow Light Press has refused to acknowledge those terminations and has indicated an intent to continue asserting control over our intellectual property. As a result, there may still be additional legal steps required to fully protect our rights going forward.

We do not know whether a lengthy legal fight will ultimately be necessary. However, a number of readers and colleagues have asked how they can help, and in response, we have chosen to set this fund up as a contingency.
