On September 29th, the Egenolf family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when a devastating house fire took the life of a beloved husband, father, and two cherished family dogs.

For the past five years, their family has already endured more than most could ever imagine. Five years ago, their dad survived a traumatic brain injury that changed their lives forever. Through countless challenges, hospital stays, rehabilitation, therapies, and setbacks, he fought incredibly hard and continued to overcome obstacles that no family should ever have to face. His strength and resilience were an inspiration to everyone who loved him.

After everything he had already survived, losing him in such a sudden and tragic way is a heartbreak that words cannot begin to describe.

In just a matter of moments, the Egenolf family lost not only their beloved dad and husband, but their home, their belongings, and two beloved family dogs.

They are now facing the unimaginable task of grieving these losses while also having to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
