Hello everyone. My name is Charles Clark. I reside in Washington State and am the proud father of 5 children and Papa to two grandchildren. I served my country in the United States Navy proudly for 9 years. Most of my kids are grown and out of the house. My wife and I have had a rough few years since the start of 2020. We have endured through it all by the grace of God. We have lost several members of our family, including my grandmother and father in back-to-back years. My wife has lost a very important father figure in her uncle, and we have had our personal struggles within our own home.
Currently, we are in temporary housing while our home is being repaired after a septic backup into our home. I had been working for the United States Department of Agriculture since 2019 and left because of the uncertainty of if or when I was going to be let go or forced to move to keep my position. I started looking for a new position and was blessed to receive an offer from an agency in Washington State. It was a blessing until I was released from the position early in January 2026. I was told when I started that the position takes 1 year to learn, and by the end of 2.5 months, they told me I wasn't picking up the position fast enough. Because I was on probation (every new employee is on probation for a certain timeframe), I was let go.
Now, with everything that has happened, I am looking for new work, and we are struggling to make ends meet. I was hoping by God's grace, I could come on here as a last resort and ask my community for help. I am a proud person, and it has taken everything in me to push that aside and ask for help. Please know that if I could, I would avoid this and make a way for my family. I am looking for work, and hope that it will come sooner rather than later. If you can please help our family through this hard time, it would be much appreciated. The funds will help with bills, groceries, housing, and transportation. Everything helps and will be used for God's glory. Thank you!
Update: Through this site and private donations, my wife and myself have seen a miracle the God's grace, blessings, and covering. We are so blessed to have the family and friends to support us. I appreciate everyone that has donated and everyone that can't. I know times are hard for all of us. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. God bless you all.
