UPDATE: Brian fought hard until he had nothing left to give. Unfortunately, he passed away on Thursday night. We still need donations, now more than ever. Please help me in rallying around Laurie and the boys to show them how much we care.
The Bloom family has always been a pillar of support and kindness in their community, but now they find themselves in need. Brian Bloom, a dedicated father of three, is currently in the hospital at Brigham and Women's in Boston, awaiting a heart transplant and dealing with other serious health issues. His absence is expected to last months to years, placing both emotional and financial burdens on the family. Laurie Bloom, a loving mother and devoted friend, is known for her unwavering commitment to the students at Father John V. Doyle, ensuring their academic and emotional needs are met. The Blooms have 3 amazing boys. The oldest is a college student pursuing his career in sports education. He is the soccer coach at Father John V Doyle School as well as working in their extended day program. Their twin boys are entering their senior year in high school with hopes of college. With Brian's hospitalization, not only will their income be drastically affected, but they are dealing with the added burden of travel expenses and extra bills that are quickly beginning to mount. Despite their challenges, the Blooms have always been there for others, never hesitating to help friends and family in need. Now, it's our turn to rally around them. Let's show the Bloom family that their kindness has not gone unnoticed and that they are not alone in their journey.
