Daniel and Hayley met 10 years ago and have rarely left each other’s side since. Together, they built a life centered on love, resilience, and family. 8 years ago, their family grew with the birth of their daughter, Emmalie. Emmalie arrived six weeks early and has shared an especially deep bond with her dad ever since—truly attached at the hip.

In 2025, Daniel was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer in his sinus cavity. He faced this diagnosis with incredible strength, enduring multiple rounds of treatment and surgery. Through it all, Daniel remained the same devoted husband and father his family depends on.

For 20 years, Daniel worked as a mechanic, dedicating himself to providing for his family. Outside of work, he found peace and joy in the simple things he loved most—spending time in Big Sur and fishing at Lake Nacimiento.

Now, as Daniel’s illness has become terminal, Hayley and Emmalie are facing an unimaginably difficult and unexpected chapter. This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden during this time, allowing them the space to focus on being together and supporting one another.
