Hi. My name is Hannah Jorgensen. At the end of January my mom Teresa was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. At just 51 years old, this came as a shock and was very very sudden. My mom is my best friend. She is a registered nurse and has been at the VA for the past 12 years. She has dedicated her life to helping others on and off the clock. My mom is the most compassionate, caring, strong woman I have and will ever meet. She is a role model to me and my 3 siblings and we are doing everything we can to help support her. This has absolutely shaken our worlds and there truly are no words to describe how we are feeling at this time. Just 3 weeks after diagnosis, she was unable to work. She is trying conventional and non conventional medicines, which is necessary to fight this form of aggressive cancer. During this time we are desperately searching for any help we can get.
