Help Taylor Blackman, a mother of 3, survive Severe MCAS

Hello, my name is Bob Cameron, and I'm raising funds for the daughter I never had - Taylor Blackman.

I spent many years with Taylor during her high school years while I was dating her mother, and she became family to me. I studied with her, spent time with her friends, traveled to special places for her birthdays, and even drove her to San Diego when she fell in love with the man who would become her husband. I was lucky enough to watch Taylor and her husband, Hector, get married.

Taylor is a young mother of three beautiful boys (ages 4,3, and 8 months) and is fighting a severe, life altering condition called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). This disease causes her body to react dangerously to all foods, most smells, and even temperature changes.

Her reactions include rashes, shortness of breath, swelling of the throat and the constant risk of life-threatening anaphylactic shock.
Because she cannot safely eat, Taylor currently relies on IV hydration through a PICC line placed directly in her heart and will soon have a feeding tube place in her stomach to survive. Doctors are working to identify a specialized nutritional formula her body may tolerate by bypassing the most reactive part of her digestive system . While there is hope there are no guarantees, and Taylor's condition requires ongoing, intensive medical care.

Taylor and her husband, Hector, a U.S. Marine, built a life together in San Diego and welcomed three sons. due to the severity of Taylor's
illness, she is unable to work or care for her children. They have relocated to Oregon to be closer to family and Hector has become full-time caregiver while also raising their boys.

The combination of overwhelming medical expenses, loss of income, and daily living costs has placed an enormous burden on the family. They need help to keep going while they pursue medical answers stability, and hope for the future.

Please pass this along to friends and family.
Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.
