Our family is reaching out during a very humbling time.

Over the past five months my sister Sui has been battling a neurological condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH). This condition causes dangerously high CSF build up and pressure around the brain which can lead to severe headaches, vision loss, nerve damage, and other life-altering symptoms.

Despite debilitating headaches,partial vision loss, nerve damage affecting her left side, and daily neurological symptoms, she continues to power through. Most people would never know the level of pain and uncertainty she manages behind the scenes.

She has already been hospitalized twice and has undergone extensive and specialized testing, including multiple lumbar punctures, advanced imaging, and consultations with neurologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, and neurosurgeons. If her condition cannot be controlled with current treatments, the next step may be shunt/stent surgery.

Because of her health, Sui has been unable to work. Her husband has taken on the full responsibility of keeping their household afloat while covering everyday expenses and mounting medical costs.

This journey has been physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially devastating.

We are asking for help to:

• Offset lost income

• Ease the financial stress during this uncertain time
