Help Support My Dad Through His Cancer Journey

Recently, our family received news that no family ever wants to hear: my father (Steven Rogers) has been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, a rare form of cancer along with a small brain tumor, blood clots and a few other underline issues.

My dad is a hardworking man and a family man to his core. He has spent his life working hard, providing for the people he loves, and always putting his family first. He is a father of four and has recently had the joy of becoming a grandfather—one of the newest and most precious chapters of his life.

Now, our family is coming together to support him as he begins what we know will be a long and challenging journey. There will be appointments, treatments, medical expenses, and many difficult days ahead. Through all of this, our greatest hope is that my dad and mom can focus their energy on what matters most: his health, healing, and being together as a family.

Unfortunately, paid time off does not last forever, and everyday bills and expenses still have to be paid. The financial uncertainty that can come with a serious illness is something I desperately want to keep from becoming an additional burden for my parents. Our goal with this fundraiser is to help ease some of that financial pressure so they can focus on getting through this journey together.

If you are able to contribute, any amount—no matter how small—would mean more to our family than we can put into words. Donations will help with medical expenses, household bills, transportation, and other costs that may arise throughout my dad’s treatment and recovery.

We also understand that not everyone is in a position to donate financially, and there is absolutely no expectation to do so. Sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community is just as meaningful and deeply appreciated. Your thoughts, prayers, encouragement, and support mean the world to our family during this difficult time.

Our family has a long road ahead, but we are facing it together with hope, faith, and love. My dad has spent his life taking care of others, and now we want to surround him with that same love and support.
