Title: Supporting Stephanie Through Breast Cancer Surgery & Recovery

Stephanie is the kind of person who shows up—without hesitation, without judgment, and without ever asking for anything in return. Now, she needs support.

Stephanie is 52 years old, a devoted mother of three, a lifelong nurse in elder care, and a cherished friend and family member. She is also my dear friend and my daughter’s godmother. Recently, Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing a double mastectomy on January 23rd, with additional surgeries required in the months that follow.

As a nurse, Stephanie has spent her career caring for others—especially our elders—with compassion, patience, and dignity. At home, she is the primary caregiver for her 18-year-old son who is non-verbal autistic and requires constant care when not in school. She is also the main source of income for her household, which makes this time especially challenging as she will need to take extended time off work to heal and recover after each surgery.

Stephanie is incredibly family-oriented and deeply close with her family, especially her mom and sister. She is the friend who listens without judgment, helps without being asked, and gives endlessly of herself. Even now, facing cancer, surgery, fatigue, and uncertainty, she continues to meet each day with an amazingly positive attitude and strength that inspires everyone around her.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Medical and surgical expenses not covered by insurance

• Rent and essential living expenses

• Support during recovery periods when Stephanie is unable to work

• Ongoing care needs for her family

Her mother, her sister and I are organizing this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so Stephanie can focus on what truly matters right now—healing, resting, and being present with her family.
