On the late evening of Thursday, January 8, my sister, Stacy Fry, was the victim of a violent stabbing by someone known to her and the community. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed into emergency surgery to repair damage to her stomach, colon, and pancreas. Stacy is currently recovering in the hospital, and at this time, the length of her recovery is unknown.
Prior to this tragic event, Stacy was already facing significant financial hardship. Stacy has been struggling to return to work after undergoing back surgery just a few months ago. This unexpected medical emergency has placed an overwhelming additional strain on her.
Funds raised will help cover travel expenses, household bills, daily living costs, and any future medical appointments or care Stacy may need as she continues her recovery. Angie has been and will continue to be by Stacy’s side during her recovery. Angie will be providing Stacy's care after she is discharged and will be taking her to her future appointments.
If you know Stacy, you know she has an incredibly big heart. Even while facing her own struggles, she has always been someone who shows up for others and helps anyone she can within her community. Now, she needs that same care and support in return.
Any donation, share, prayer, or kind word is deeply appreciated. Thank you for supporting Stacy during this incredibly difficult time.
