Help Situated Riderz Rebuild After a Tragic Horse Trailer Accident

Three Horses Lost, A Damaged Trailer, and a Group Left Heartbroken

On October 24, 2026, our lives changed in a matter of seconds. What was supposed to be another day doing what we love turned into one of the most heartbreaking experiences and nightmares we’ve ever faced.

Our horse trailer was struck from behind by a vehicle traveling approximately 80 mph on a bridge, causing a devastating accident involving Four horses at the scene. Two passed on scene and One of our horses passed away the following day at the barn due to internal bleeding.

Thankfully, the person responsible for the cellular device connected to the incident was located in the vehicle. However, we were still left to deal with the destruction, injuries, and heartbreak caused by this tragedy.

Sadly, we lost three of our beloved horses, and our lives will never be the same.

For those who don’t know us, we are Situated Riderz (SRZ), a family built on loyalty, hard work, dedication, and our love for horses. This isn’t just a hobby to us. This is our lifestyle, our peace, our family, and something we’ve worked years to build from the ground up.

We work 10–12-hour shifts, and instead of going home to rest, we spend another 4–5 hours at the barn feeding, cleaning stalls, caring for our horses, and making sure everything is taken care of.

When one brother is tired, another steps up. When somebody is out of town working, we make sure their horses are fed. When hay is needed, stalls need cleaning, or something needs fixing, we come together and get it done.

We have put our BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS, and hard-earned money into building Situated Riderz.

These horses weren’t just animals to us. They were our babies. Each had its own personality, and each held a special place in our hearts. We raised them, cared for them, spent countless hours with them, and created memories that money could never replace.

Seeing our horses suffer and losing three of them in such a tragic way is something we will never forget. We cried like babies because we didn’t just lose horses — we lost members of our family.

To make matters worse, we struggled to find emergency veterinary assistance when we desperately needed it. We were left trying to save the animals we love while dealing with the damage to our trailer and vehicle.

We never imagined we would have to ask for help, but right now, we need our community more than ever.
