Hello. My name is Sigrid.

I am an artist, parent, college student. At the age of 24, I received a diagnosis that changed my life forever. Breast cancer.

Six years later, I'm still fighting that fight. Unfortunately, the cancer has spread to my liver thus making me officially stage 4.

I am young, otherwise healthy, and stubborn as hell, plus there are still treatment options for me. I am continuing my fight. However, I am unable to work and have made the heart wrenching decision to take a leave of absence from school. However, I am choosing to believe this is only a temporary set back.

I've decided to make this gofundme to raise money to take care of my family while I am unable to work.

A good portion of this money will be going to a savings account for my daughter's future, as its not guaranteed that I will be around when she's starting out on her own.

I am also going to be selling prints of my paintings (more details on that soon).

It gives me no joy to ask for money on the internet but I am certainly greatful for all donations and well wishes.
