Our family is going through a very scary and unexpected time.

My brother, Shawn Piasecki, recently suffered a major heart attack and had to undergo emergency surgery where doctors placed a stent to restore blood flow to his heart. He is currently still in the hospital and doctors are preparing to place another stent as they work to stabilize his condition.

Right now Shawn’s heart is functioning at only about 30–35%, and doctors have told us that he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He will need time to heal, follow medical care closely, and focus on rebuilding his strength before he can return to work.

Shawn is an incredible husband to his wife Megan and a loving father to their two beautiful children. As their family focuses on his recovery, the financial burden of medical bills, time away from work, and everyday family expenses is becoming overwhelming.

We are asking friends, family, and anyone willing to help to support Shawn and his family during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go toward medical expenses, household bills, and helping Megan keep things stable for their children while Shawn focuses on healing.
