Shaun’s facing one of the toughest challenges life can throw at someone — a sudden, aggressive cancer diagnosis — and he’s doing it with courage, grace, and deep love for his family.

What started as what he thought was a strained neck muscle turned out to be aggressive cancer in his salivary gland.

Shaun’s first thought wasn’t for himself — it was for his two young daughters. They’ve already experienced heartbreaking loss of their mum. Now, as Shaun faces the fight of his life, he’s doing everything he can to stay strong for them.

But the road ahead is incredibly tough.

Shaun has undergone countless biopsies, tests, and specialist appointments — all requiring frequent travel between home and Perth, a two-hour trip each way. He’s been trying to juggle treatment, work, and fatherhood, but the emotional, physical, and financial toll is enormous.
