My name is Sheila and I’m starting a GoFundMe for my dear friend Sharon Kazianka.

Three years ago, Sharon was diagnosed with and successfully beat Stage 3 colon cancer with surgery and chemotherapy. She has since battled pain and ongoing medical issues, yet remains an incredibly giving person. If you know Sharon, you know she’s the first to jump in and help friends, church and community members, and strangers alike. She volunteers countless hours and regularly organizes community events to raise funds for those less fortunate.

Today, she needs our help (and if you know Sharon, you also know she hates to ask for help!). On December 10th, she had outpatient surgery to help correct some of those persistent problems, but experienced post-operative complications, resulting in 1 1/2 weeks in the ICU and ongoing hospitalization. Once medically stable, she will need significant inpatient rehab to regain strength. Sharon is now facing staggering medical bills and an extended period off work without income.
