Hi everyone, my name is Christa, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my family member, Shaena.

Shaena has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, and her life has changed in an instant. She is a devoted single mother to three children, and right now her main focus is fighting this illness and being there for her kids.

Shaena has been a nurse her entire adult life. She is the kind of person who shows up for others—caring, compassionate, and always willing to help those in need. Now, she is the one who needs support.

This fight is also deeply personal. Shaena has experienced the pain of losing her sister to cancer, and now she is facing her own battle with incredible strength and resilience.

Unfortunately, Shaena’s short-term disability has run out, and she currently has no income coming in. This doesn’t just impact household bills—it directly affects her ability to continue life-saving treatments like chemotherapy. She is now facing the possibility of having to return to work while still battling cancer, simply to survive financially.

No one should have to make that choice.

We are asking for any support you can give during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward her medical care, insurance payments, household bills, and food for her and her children—so she can focus on healing instead of financial stress.
