My name is Deanna, and I’m reaching out in the middle of a fight my family never expected to face.

On December 12, 2025, my brother Scotty was involved in a devastating car accident in Texas. His vehicle burst into flames, and the fact that he escaped the burning car alive is nothing short of a miracle. He suffered severe internal injuries and has been fighting for his life every single day since.

Scotty is still with us—but his condition is critical. His organs are struggling, and his body has endured more than anyone should. He has already undergone seven major surgeries, along with countless additional procedures. Despite everything, Scotty is still fighting, and we are praying fiercely for the miracle we believe is possible.

Scotty is a father of three and a grandfather to four precious grandchildren who need him here. While he fights for his life, our family is fighting to keep everything else from falling apart. Expenses continue to rise, monthly bills do not stop, and family members have missed significant work to remain by his side. The cost of travel, food, and basic necessities while living at the hospital has become overwhelming. Some family members are driving more than eight hours just to see him and pray over him.

Earlier this year, in April, we lost our baby brother. I carried the financial weight of that loss, and right now, I simply do not have the ability to do it again alone.
