This has been one of the hardest years of our lives.

Over the past year, Sarah has faced a series of serious and unexpected medical challenges that have completely changed our day-to-day life. What began as one issue quickly turned into many — multiple surgeries, extended hospital stays, infections, complications, and ongoing neurological symptoms. Each step forward has come with uncertainty, resilience, and more recovery than we ever imagined.

Despite everything, Sarah has continued to fight with incredible strength. She’s endured repeated procedures, prolonged healing, setbacks that no one plans for, and the emotional toll that comes with living in survival mode for months. Some of her surgical wounds have struggled to heal properly, reopening despite careful treatment, adding yet another layer to her already complex recovery.

Her medical team has now recommended hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to support wound healing and tissue recovery. This treatment offers real hope — improving oxygen delivery, promoting healing, and helping prevent further complications. Unfortunately, most of these treatments are not covered by insurance, leaving the costs largely out-of-pocket.

Between hospitalizations, surgeries, medications, travel, and now ongoing hyperbaric treatments, the financial burden has grown quickly and unexpectedly. We’ve done everything we can to manage it on our own, but we’ve reached a point where we need help.
