Hello, we are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend Sairam, an international student from India who came to the United States with dreams of building a better future.
Sairam was originally from Hyderabad, Telangana, and was the only son of a single mother. On Wednesday, March 11th, at around 12:30 PM, he suddenly collapsed in his washroom due to a severe brain stroke and was immediately rushed to St. Francis Hospital.
His condition quickly became critical. Sairam was unable to breathe on his own and was placed on a ventilator for several days. The stroke caused paralysis on the right side of his body, along with severe nerve damage in his neck.
In addition to this, his health further deteriorated, and he battled multiple organ complications, including kidney failure, making his condition life-threatening and highly unstable. He remained in the ICU under constant monitoring, and every moment was crucial in his fight for survival.
Despite all efforts and his brave fight, Sairam sadly passed away, leaving behind his grieving mother and loved ones. As a single parent, his mother is now facing unimaginable emotional pain along with overwhelming financial hardship.
We are now reaching out for support to help cover the hospital expenses, final rites, transportation of his body back to India, and other necessary arrangements. The financial burden is immense, and the family does not have sufficient resources to manage these unexpected costs.
We humbly request your support during this incredibly difficult time. Your contribution—no matter how small—will help give Sairam a dignified final journey home and provide some relief to his family.
Please keep Sairam in your prayers and consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support his family.
