"My name is Sadia. I’m currently in a difficult transition. After a long career in the game industry, my job ended during a period when the industry itself is facing widespread layoffs and hiring freezes. At the same time, I am in my 5th month of pregnancy, with my due date at the end of June.
I’m actively seeking new opportunities and mentorship but finding stable work in the current market especially while pregnant has been challenging. This pregnancy is extremely important to me and to make sure I can safely carry my pregnancy, prepare for delivery, and take care of my family during this period. This is why I need to raise funds to cover essential living and medical expenses for the coming months, including some time after delivery while I work toward returning to employment.
The support raised here will go directly toward essential monthly and medical costs, including rent, utilities, food and daily necessities, medical expenses and checkups, transportation and school fees. It will also help cover delivery-related costs, including normal or C-section delivery and possible NICU care if required.
My goal is to have enough support to cover basic living and medical needs through delivery and a few months afterward, so I can recover properly and re-enter the workforce in a stable and healthy way.
