Hello everyone,

My name is Shaneika, and I am advocating on behalf of my sister, Sable, during this incredibly difficult and unexpected time.

On Tuesday, 05/05/2026, Sable was involved in a tragic accident while riding an electric scooter. She was found stuck in the middle of the road, unable to move. By the grace of God, a passing driver stopped to help and remained with her until emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene. Because Sable cannot fully remember everything that happened, I personally believe she may have been struck by a vehicle.

As if the accident itself was not traumatic enough, on 05/06/2026, Sable went into anaphylactic shock — a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction — from medication being used to manage the pain from multiple breaks in her left leg. She was immediately transferred to the ICU, where she remained under close observation for 24 hours.

Sable is a loving person who has spent years helping and supporting others throughout her community and surrounding areas. She is also an independent business owner of SVW Embroidery, LLC, working solely for herself. Due to the severity of her injuries, her current hospitalization, and the damage to her left leg, she is immobile without support and depends on others for movement and basic daily activities.

Sable underwent her first surgery on 05/07/2026 and is expected to face additional surgeries and a long road to recovery in the weeks ahead. At this time, she is also without medical insurance, and we are working diligently to get coverage reinstated as soon as possible.

Through every challenge, we are holding onto our faith and trusting God for healing, strength, provision, and restoration. We know that God is our refuge in times of trouble, and we believe He will carry Sable through this difficult season.

We have created this GoFundMe to help ease the burden of mounting medical bills, transportation to treatments and appointments, rehabilitation needs, and essential living expenses while Sable focuses fully on healing and recovery.
