My name is Robert Herrera AKA RC and I found out that I have cancer 3 and 1/2 months ago . I was just fine one night when I went shopping for my puppies . I went home had dinner . Went to bed and when I woke up the next morning I couldn't walk scariest moment of my life one of them anyways. I had a few friends carry me to my car and a friend of mine took me to the ER and that's when I found out the worst news of my life . I have cancer . I have 2 tumors on my spine . Which explains why I can't walk . I have a tumor in my stomach and cirrhosis of the liver which is not caused by drinking it was caused by something else which turned into cancer. I was in the hospital for about a month and a half the first night I went to the ER they rushed me to Boise that night for emergency surgery on my spine and I stayed in the hospital for a little over a month doing physical therapy learning how to transfer myself from a bed into a wheelchair or from a wheelchair into a chair or for my wheelchair too a shower chair. There's so much more that goes along with this but there's nothing like waking up and not being able to walk and finding out you have cancer. Not to mention I have to move out of my house because my landlord wants to move her family in and I have had nowhere to go. It's like wow all of this all at once and then my landlord has no compassion at all and evicted me .Sad that people are like that . Anyways I have been confined to a wheelchair since the morning I woke up and couldn't walk. I have bills stacking up and no way to pay them cuz I am not mobile. I have always been able to take care of myself till now. So I am asking for help any little bit would help. I am not sure if the chemo and radiation is going to help but I am fighting with all of my being to make it through. I just have a lot of expenses going to twin and Boise daily and am hoping I can get some relief on this platform for myself and family.
