As the UHC Emergency Department family, we are reaching out with heavy hearts to support one of our own, our friend and coworker, RJ.

On July 1st, RJ experienced a loss that is truly beyond comprehension. A house fire claimed the lives of his father, his twin sister, his younger sister, and his sister’s fiancé. In a single moment, so much of the family he loved was taken from him.

If you know RJ, you know that he is the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. He is one of the most genuine, caring, and selfless people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. Whether you needed a helping hand, a listening ear, a laugh on a difficult day, or someone to simply show up when it mattered most, RJ is always there.

Right now, our friend needs the same love and support that he has given so freely to others.

We have created this fundraiser to help RJ with funeral and memorial expenses, as well as any other costs and needs that may arise in the difficult days and months ahead. All funds raised will go directly to RJ to help ease the financial burden while he focuses on grieving, healing, and honoring the memory of his loved ones.
