This Labor Day weekend, our hearts were shattered. What began as a joyful weekend of riding together ended in tragedy when River, the beloved son of the Padrnos/Jeffries family, was in a devastating dirt bike accident. In the crash, his helmet came off, and he suffered severe head trauma. River was airlifted to the nearest children’s trauma center, where his life was hanging by a thread. His mom, Nikki, has not left his side for a single moment. By the grace of God, River is now stable—but his journey is far from over. He faces facial reconstruction surgery and a long road of healing ahead. As Nikki and Dustin stay by River’s side, they are also trying to care for their three other children at home. The emotional and financial weight is overwhelming. Medical bills, travel costs, and lost work time are piling up, yet their only focus right now is their son’s recovery.
