I never imagined being in a position where I would need to ask for help like this, but our family is facing something truly overwhelming.

My husband, Richard, is currently in the ICU and has already undergone three surgeries, with the possibility of another one still ahead. Despite everyone’s efforts, things continue to take unexpected turns, and each setback brings more fear. With his heart condition and an active infection in his body, every time he is put back under anesthesia feels terrifying. The uncertainty of what comes next has been emotionally exhausting.

As his wife, my place is by his side—but I am also the sole provider for our household. Missing work, traveling hours back and forth, and covering daily living expenses on top of medical-related costs has quickly become more than I can manage alone.

Richard has lived here his entire life. If you know him, you know his heart. When people say he would give you the shirt off his back, that isn’t an exaggeration.
