Rhonda was hospitalized for 10 days ad finally went home yesterday afternoon. Doctors continue to monitor her condition. What started as severe dehydration led to sepsis, affecting her kidneys. During her stay, doctors have also discovered a heart issue and high blood pressure, both of which are now being closely watched.

She is currently on blood thinners to prevent any clots from reaching her heart and is fighting through four separate infections.

Because of the seriousness of her condition her doctor says she will not be able to work for 6 to 8 weeks, if then! She does not have any remaining annual or sick leave. This creates a significant financial strain for her.
